I've found that this YouTube poster, BALLINS SAMPFER WELT, has done a fine job of presenting the exterior and interiors of many of the great steamships that figure in our ancestors travel to America and back to Europe. The videos are of fine quality, have good music, and you can read more about the history of the ship in the text. Here is one on the S.S. Amerika... Over 600 ships featured.
There are many other ships presented on this channel including ships on the Anchor Line, The Canadian Pacific Line, and ships that went from Hamburg to South America as well as some non-passenger ships.
